Neighborhood Centre
Preziosa
An empty supermarket from the 60s is being transformed into a neighbourhood centre for Munich Johanneskirchen, with a focus on creative work.
Preziosa is a community hub in the form of a creative and social center, serving as a gathering place for the entire neighborhood. It consists of an open workshop and additional workspaces for hands-on and creative projects, providing opportunities for individuals to pursue their own initiatives. The ground floor features a café with a kitchen and a gallery space to exhibit various works. Additionally, a kiosk ensures convenient access to daily necessities for the community. The existing structure is enhanced by an extension on the flat roof, primarily comprising a large multifunctional hall and a central core for access and amenities, including an outdoor kitchen and restroom facilities. Surrounded by a spacious rooftop terrace, the hall can accommodate a variety of workshops, courses, as well as private or community events.
