Preziosa

Short term apartments for artists on the roof of the old supermarket building which is being transformed into workshop spaces and ateliers. 

Preziosa is a creative center for young artists and students, who live and work there for the duration of one project. The working facilities are being shared by the eight residents, while the studio apartments each provide an own bathroom and small kitchen. The open space is divided by a shelving system which can be used as storage, kitchen or a high desk. The bed is movable and can be pushed under the platform, to save space for working or sports. The apartments are accessible through the central hallway of the building, which is leads to stairs and a lift. A wraparound balcony connects the individual units from the outside.
